Laura & Will's Wedding!

This past weekend I shot with Kim Fox in gorgeous Palos Verdes, CA. The weather was absolutely perfect! Couldn't have asked for better.

Laura & Will met in college about eight years ago, and though they live on the East Coast, they decided to have their wedding at Laura's family home here in SoCal. Sooo... all of their friends flew out a few days early and rented a beach house in Hermosa Beach. Will and all of the guys got ready there at the beach house, so I went there to get some shots. The guys were so fun and were up for anything! I this shot of most of them getting dressed in the living room captured the slightly chaotic morning quite well.

I took Will up to the deck on the roof to get some portraits of him alone. This is one of my favorites...

This is a great one of all the guys together up on the roof... Fun people.

While Kim was doing the main group shots, I was hanging off to the side making sure everyone looked pretty... I just happened to shoot this as Laura looked over at me. I love that she's the only one looking at my camera.

While Will and all the groomsmen were taking some group photos, Laura rested for a bit inside. This is a great one of Laura watching her groom taking photos with all his guys.

Laura was driven up to the ceremony site (quite a trek to do in heels) by her father in this awesome old car. This was taken right before they drove off... She had the parasol so that no one could see her as she drove up the driveway. Totally cute.

And finally, a few romantics of the happy couple on the beautiful grounds of this amazing house. :)

Congratulations Laura & Will!

Adrianna & Alvin's Wedding!

I shot this wedding about a month back and am just now getting around to posting it. Graduation kept me pretty busy there for a while. Once again I was second-shooter for Kim Fox and once again we had a great time working together.

For some reason most of my favorite photos from the day looked best in black and white. Here are a few of those favorites... I especially love the first shot of Adrianna and Alvin standing by that old car... Instead of having a limo, Adrianna chose to arrive at the event site in this fabulous car. I love that! We took a few minutes after the ceremony to take some shots with it and this was the best of them. :)

Tamara & Zachary's Wedding!

Tamara and Zachary are actually childhood sweethearts who were reunited a few years ago and fell in love again. Such a great story! The wedding day was quite hectic: with four kids, one of them a young baby to get ready, and the 30% chance of rain, there was a lot going on throughout the day. In the end, though, the ceremony was beautiful! Each of them read their own vows that were very touching (rain drops and all)! The party was so much fun and even included lessons on how to do traditional Jewish dances. I think that was such a great idea and really got everyone involved.

These are a few images that I really like from the day. Though it was rainy and cloudy, we still got some great shots of a great celebration.

Once again, I shot this wedding with Kim Fox, who blows me away with being pregnant, shooting two weddings in one weekend and still managing to be so creative and energetic throughout the entire shoot!

The Sweetheart table:

The ceremony was full of sweet moments like this:

As the bridal party kept yelling, "Holla!"

There was this great swing that these girls just loved... and later someone carved "T&Z <3>

I love this Jewish tradition. It looks like a lot of fun!

Kim (a very pregnant Kim) capturing some moments with the kids. Must be that maternal thing kicking in. :)

Tamara was really enjoying that Red Velvet cupcake. They were so good! I just love the bubbles floating around her and the look on her face as if I caught her in the act! :)

The adults were having more fun with the bubbles than the kids!

As a present to Tamara, Zachary wrote her a great, hilarious, sweet song he lovingly titled "Hip Song" and played it for her at the reception. The song was all about their relationship together and was so funny and witty! What a great gift and a great memory to have of your wedding day! As you can see, Tamara just loved it, as did the entire crowd!

What a great celebration!
